Hold on...  Guys, I think there’s been a mistake. This is just Rod Serling’s opening monologue at the start of that TV show. Guys? Hey, where’d everybody go? Hello? HELLO?! Hey, who turned out the lights? This isn’t funny you guys! You’re being super immature. Guys?? OK, you win. You got me. Ha ha. You can come out now. Come on, seriously! Where the… Wait… Who’s there? Hello? Look, I know you’re there so come on out and show yourself! Hello? Hello?! He– AHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRGGGG!!!!!!!!!!

Dee is delighted to be part of Lovely Calamity’s production of Trifles. She began her career in 1990s New York City as an actor, director, producer, and—of course—waiter/bartender. A temporary job taken for the dental insurance led to a master’s in social work and 20 wonderful years co-creating original theater with teens in foster care. She now works with middle schoolers in the South Bronx and is thrilled to be back onstage in Westchester—especially alongside her husband and best friend, Chris Moyer. Big thanks to Crissy and the entire crew!

Chris hails from California where, at the age of two, he won a local beauty pageant and went on to star in commercials alongside Dick Van Dyke and Betty White. He received a scholarship to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, performed in regional theatre productions and in commercials, before starting a business and a family with his better half, Dee. Chris is delighted to be back with Crissy and the team at Lovely Calamity after having previously appeared in The Weir and The Hill: Stories from Spoon River.

Jasper Newell is an actor/director born and raised in the East Village, NYC. He studied at Rutgers University (BFA, Acting). Marie Wall is an actress, director, and award-winning cat mom from New York’s Hudson Valley. She is incredibly grateful and excited to be working with Lovely Calamity Productions for the second time this year. In June, she appeared alongside many talented ghouls in The Hill: Stories from Spoon River at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. Most recently, Marie was part of the Brewster Playwrights’ Festival and has worked extensively with Studio Theater in Exile in Peekskill. This past April, she also directed a one-woman show that premiered in the Hudson Valley.
